Event description
Welcome back to the UAE MTB Challenge, presented by Oakley and Garmin. The upcoming race of the season is set to take place near Hafia Park in Kalba.
Explore the exhilarating course, officially approved by the UCI, and the same location where the Arab MTB Championships took place in 2022. Brace yourself for a challenging route featuring single tracks and a mix of natural and artificial obstacles. The picturesque scenery promises a delightful ride in the heart of nature.
The UAE Cycling Federation Commissaires will oversee the race, with Mr. Vatche serving as the Race Director. Endurance Sports Services and its professional team will handle the timing system, bibs, and transponders. Look out for the well-marked course indicated by prominent yellow signs. Volunteers and marshals will be on hand to guide you and ensure the safety of every rider.
The lap measures approximately 4 km, and a designated feeding and technical zone will be available. Unlike previous races, we won't enforce the 80% rule, ensuring that all overlapping riders receive a ranking. Ample parking is available, so be sure to arrive early.
The race kicks off at 07:30 am, with staggered start waves beginning with EMTB, followed by XCO one minute later. As a reminder, slower riders must yield to faster riders when requested.

- XCO (Men) (5 laps)
- XCO (Women and Junior) (4 laps)
- Community Race (3 laps)
