Event description

Are you ready to rise to the Triathlon challenge? In 2014 & 2016, GEMS Education invited students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff from schools and universities across the Emirates to register and participate in the GEMS Triathlon. The responses have been overwhelming and the success of the event fuelled the demand for an encore. We are very pleased to announce the 3rd edition of the GEMS Triathlon on 03rd March, 2017.

We would like this to be a family event and have planned for everyone with each race category having its own age appropriate swim, bike, and run distances around the purpose-designed and beautiful premises of the GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail in Dubai. There will be participating medals for all those who finish and Bronze, Silver, and Gold podium recognition for every male and female age category.

So shake the dust off your swimming goggles, grease your bike chains, inflate the tires and put on your running shoes for this cool sports event... excitement beckons!

Previously registered? For athletes who are unable to join us on the new date, we will provide a refund upon your request.

Race pack collection: Race pack collection and bike racking from the school:
- Thursday 2nd March, 2.00pm until 8.00pm
- Athletes traveling from an Emirate outside of Dubai are allowed to collect the race pack and rack the bike on Friday 03rd March. From 6.00am until 7.30am.
- ATHLETES WHO ALREADY COLLECTED THE RACE PACK ON EITHER FEB 1 OR 2, KINDLY USE THIS RACE NUMBER, TIMING CHIP, AND BREAKFAST VOUCHER FOR THE EVENT.

Parking: The road in front of the venue will be partially closed from 06.00am on race day. Sufficient parking is available near the school. Allow ample time to park and walk from the car park to the venue.
