At its heart, The Sparkle Foundation aims to deliver a future in which every community has equal opportunity to live a life of health and self-sufficiency in Malawi. We have spent years understanding the needs of the community and have developed an innovative approach to charity by delivering a sustainable and replicable best practice model.

The Sparkle Foundation does not believe in operating in isolation. Our integrated approach incorporates four main pillars: Community, Medical, Nutrition & Health, each of which are reliant on each other to be successful. Through the delivery of these four pillars, we support children, youth, women and the community with a range of programmes that are developed based on the needs of our community.

The Sparkle Foundation

We run tailored outreach programmes in partnership with our community committee, village heads and government bodies. Each programme actively empowers our members by providing them with tools and knowledge needed to become self-sufficient and food secure. We develop bespoke initiatives based on the needs of each village, ensuring our programmes are community led and in line with the overall national strategy. Our youth and women's programmes provide individuals with skills and education to ensure they are well prepared for the future ahead, as well as regular social and sports activities. We also deliver training to our women's group, after which members can apply for a loan to set up their own business and become self-sufficient.

Waarom zou ik via jullie website donaties doen?

Bij Hopasports geloven we dat een goede zorg voor je eigen lichaam en geest een eerste stap is op weg naar zorgen voor anderen. Door via Hopasports donaties te doen, ontstaat er een maatschappelijke revolutie die ook in anderen vrijgevigheid losmaakt. We vermelden alle donaties op onze website, niet alleen van clubs maar ook van individuen. Behulpzaamheid is besmettelijk –op een mooie manier! Daarom moedigen we je aan om je behulpzaamheid en sociale betrokkenheid te delen via Hopasports. Wij zorgen ervoor dat je boodschap verder verspreid wordt.

Maken jullie winst op mijn donatie?

Nee, zeker niet! 100% van het bedrag dat je schenkt, gaat rechtstreeks en volledig naar de liefdadigheidsinstelling. Wij geloven in volledige transparantie.

Hoe weet ik dat mijn donatie uitsluitend bij mijn goede doel terechtkomt?

De liefdadigheidsinstelling is zelf verantwoordelijk voor de administratie van alle transacties die ze via Hopasports ontvangen. Wij zorgen ervoor dat de liefdadigheidsinstelling je gift ontvangt, samen met duidelijke instructies over het door jou gewenste goede doel. Hierdoor komt je gift altijd op de juiste bestemming terecht.

Kan ik een overzicht van de donaties bekijken?

Ja natuurlijk. Op onze website zie je de bedragen die voor alle goede doelen zijn ingezameld. Als geregistreerd lid van Hopasports kun je bovendien een overzicht van je persoonlijke donaties bekijken in de vorm van een fraaie blauwe thermometer.
