Event description
The 2nd edition of the Tropic of Cancer Marathon is an Ultra Endurance desert running competition (50KM) which will take place on 10th November 2017 (arrival on 09/11/17) in Al Qua’a Area, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Tropic of Cancer, also referred to as the Northern Tropic, is the most northerly circle of latitude on the Earth at which the Sun may appear directly overhead at its culmination. This event occurs once per year, at the time of the Northern solstice, when the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the Sun to its maximum extent.
