The event will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 6:15 AM to 10:30 AM.
This event's primary objective is to promote the significance of sports, physical well-being, and a healthy way of life, while also fostering community involvement in sports activities. The "Tomorrow's Ride" commences at the university campus and winds its way through Academic City, offering a blend of entertainment activities, food stalls, and a celebration of the UAE National Day.
To ensure that the "Tomorrow's Ride" accommodates both seasoned and novice cyclists, two distinct routes have been arranged:
1. A 4 km route tailored for families and children, commencing from HBMSU and looping around the university. This flat course is suitable for cyclists of all age groups and skill levels.
2. A 14km route designed for more experienced cyclists, spanning Academic City and offering serene vistas of golden sands and a stunning sunrise. This route is also relatively flat and caters to cyclists with advanced skills. You can do as many loops of this route until the allotted cut-off time - TBA
What do you need to bring?
- Your bike.
- Your helmet and safety gear.
The ride will start at 6:45 am, please arrive 30 minutes earlier to complete your registration and collect your wrist band.
تحت عنوان "تحدي الغد... سباق من أجل المستقبل"، وضمن مبادرات "تحدي دبي للياقة"، تنظم جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية ومؤسسة الموانئ والجمارك والمنطقة الحرة، بالتنسيق مع مجلس دبي الرياضي النسخة الثانية من فعالية تحدي الغد للدراجات الهوائية في دبي.
يقام الحدث يوم السبت 25 نوفمبر 2023، من الساعة 6:15 صباحاً إلى 10:30 صباحاً.
يهدف الحدث بشكل أساسي إلى تعزيز أهمية الرياضة واللياقة البدنية وأسلوب الحياة الصحي، مع تعزيز مشاركة المجتمع في الأنشطة الرياضية. وينطلق "تحدي الغد للدراجات الهوائية" من حرم الجامعة عبر المدينة الأكاديمية، ويشتمل على العديد من الأنشطة الترفيهية وأكشاك الطعام ونشاطات الاحتفال باليوم الوطني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
وحرصاً على أن يشارك في "تحدي الغد" الدرَّاجون المتمرسون والمبتدئون على حد سواء، اتخذنا الترتيبات لتوفير مسارين للسباق:
1. مسار بطول 4 كيلومترات مصمم للعائلات والأطفال، يبدأ من جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية ويدور حول مبنى الجامعة. هذا المسار المستوي مناسب للدراجين من جميع الفئات العمرية ومستويات المهارة.
2. مسار بطول 14 كم مصمم للدرّاجين الأكثر خبرة، ويمتد عبر المدينة الأكاديمية ويحفل بمشاهد الرمال الذهبية وشروق الشمس المذهل. هذا المسار مستوٍ نسبياً أيضاً ويلبي احتياجات الدرّاجين ذوي المهارات المتقدمة.
