Event description
Join us in the heart of the Dubai International Financial District for the first ever City Half Marathon incorporating a 2.5km community run, a classic 5km, a flat and fast 10km, or the ultimate 21km challenge in association with the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
The 2.5 km community run will be flagged off by the celebratory fitness personality Joe Wicks and is for the whole family.
Starting from in front of the Gate Building, DIFC, this event will take place on an IAAF measured 5km road loop that takes in the spectacular sights of downtown including the iconic views of the Burj Khalifa, Emirates Towers and the groundbreaking architecture of the newly constructed Museum of the Future.
With the recently proposed exclusion of the 5000m & 10000m distances from the Diamond League format, this fast and flat course will be a record breaking race for our competitive running community!
Complimentary parking is available. There is no excuse not to take part or come to support our runners! We welcome you to stay after the race and experience what the sights and sounds DIFC have to offer!
All finishers of the 5km, 10k, & 21km will receive a Mai Dubai City Half Marathon t-shirt, and a participation medal. All finishers of the 2.5km will receive a participation medal.
