Event description
Our hotel will once again be part of the Road to Awareness and in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation. We are organizing the “Sheraton Dubai Creek Community Run” which will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
The Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers is surely one of the oldest landmarks on the Dubai Creek and is happy to promote #WeRunTheCreek. This will marks the second community family run which is focusing on bringing both advanced and occasional runners to experience the beauty of the Creek as well as the authentic Dubai. The Sheraton Dubai Creek Community Run will be held in the afternoon from 3PM onwards aiming to bring the Creek community to life and making this event a yearly happening.
The runs will be of 2.5, 5 and 10k along the magnificent course along the creek that can be enjoyed by all, including kids and families. Starting and finish points will be the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers.
This year’s project is called Farah (joy or happiness in Arabic) and through the funds that we will raise, this will provide financial support for children’s medical treatments in the UAE. Contributions to Farah enable Al Jalila Foundation to provide life-saving treatment, fund cutting edge research and offer hope to countless children and their families.
